good weekend

good weekend..I joined a local woodturning club, they had bottles of ca there for 5 bucks a pop, plus they had a big box of spalted wood scraps free for the taking, and I got to meet with other pen turners.
I stopped by the local wood supplier and bought two big boxes of exotic wood cut offs cheap (enough for hundreds of pen blanks)and they asked me If they could displasy my pens there and sell them on consignment (they want 10 %)
My boss drove the fork lift through the wall of the warehouse while his boss was there (pricless)
made some more pens(see photo) and....
the sreelers are going to the super bowl..

all in all I would have to say its been a good weekend

Harold,nice looking pens for sure but the highlight of my weekend was the STEELERS going to detroit and taking the bus with them.

Sounds and looks like a really good weekend.

Those really look nice...and the wood supplier asked you to let them display your work??? WOW...nothing beats that!!! Ofcourse except the icing about the forklift [][}]
