Golden Twists

Hi,

This is a pair of platinum twist ball point pens. This pen set was made with gold celluloid’s. Because of the transparent aspect of celluloid the brass tubes were painted black and glued with epoxy. The black shows through and compliments the gold colouring with a dark density.

This pen set is a special pair made for a brother and sister, a special pair of pens for two special children.

The pen kit is from CSUSA, it's the Junior Gent twist ball point pen

Wow! Jim those are stunning! I've turned several pens from that Acrylic and never thought of painting the tubes black.I have always painted them yellow. After seeing yours I think I'll change to black. It makes a world of difference in the finished pen! Comparing your picture to one I have here, yours is a much much classier looking pen!
