I'm really enjoying the gold leaf base as a start of a blank build up it seems to take the color process good and adds a very interesting depth to the overall
look of the blank, not quite sure that I'm comfortable with the results so far but it does show promise.
The nib is replaced with a rollerball conversion and writes quite nice,I think this will be a hit at the shows this year, because you can use the custom ink and not have to worry about nib damage,we'll see
C&C appreciated

I really like it already!:)

Do you use real 24kt gold leaf or "gold leaf" that is actually some kind of brass? And can you mention, what color processing technique is used (you can just name it, I'll google:)?
I was in Budapest this Christmas and saw some jewelry in similar technique, and immediately I thought about making a pen that way!

Thanks:)
