A couple months ago I bought a bunch of these crest made from Sterling silver---you may remember I even sold some here. I had both Pheasents and Eagles.
The part you did not see----one of each --- solid gold---price tag was $140.00 for the pair crest.
After playing around I figured out how to get them to work on a pen
Here's the Eagle----kit is a Jr Statesman FP--wood is Buckeye Burl

Jeff they are cast--- solid 14kt Gold---I got them at a show off the guy set up next to us. He only had one set in gold the rest are sterling silver.

Very nice! I can't help but wish it was put on a dark blank that was not as "busy". It would show off the eagle better.

Paul ---This pen was a custom order ---already sold and that's what they wanted.
Buckeye Burl is very light weight----that's why they went this route.
