Yet another one made of FIMO polymer clay. Turned on the lathe, CA finish, MM, and the rest is history. I like how this one turned out!

Here's the other one in the glow pen bonanza. Tubes were super short and it was stuco in the OPEN position, but I managed to grind down the end of the refill to compensate. Gonna have to remember that if I sell it.

Make one that is red, and you could use it with night vision equipment for special OPS.

It would look cool.. for about 10 seconds. The red powders don't last for
any length of time. They fade faster than your eyes can get used to the
dark!

Good to know! I was using the straight glow in the dark clay as my base material. Wondering what to use to tint it. Maybe a colored sealant before CA finish? BTW: Excellence on the profile pic. I'm kinda jealous!

It took me a few years, but I finally solved the cube!
As far as I know, the brightest and longest lasting glow stuff is green. There's
different sizes of grits and the size makes a difference in how long it lasts,
too. But the eye will get used to the green color pretty quick, which leaves
you some wiggle room when it comes to tinting it.
check out glowinc.com .. there's some good info there on which colors and
materials work best/worst.
.. and if you try mixing powders with resins to turn? Keep your sharpening
tools close at hand..

If I ever get to doing my own resin, you better believe I'm gonna be all over the glow powders. The clay is awesome, but isn't translucent and only gives me the greenish color.
