Hello folks.

Here's one I finished yesterday for a commission. It is a clipless FP in African Blackwood with just a bit of sapwood for contrast (as requested).

I believe I posted a somewhat similar blackwood pen before, but as this one sports a custom front section in black acrylic, I thought I'd post it anyway.

The nib is a fine JoWo steel from Meisternibs. Like all my pens, it is a c/c filler.

Thanks for looking. Comments and critique welcome.

Humbly submitted.

For my comment, sweet!

My critique, even though I am far from qualified, would be that I would like the body to be about 25% to 30% longer to balance the size of the cap.

Is there an insert in the cap or is the Blackwood threaded directly?

You won't find a finer pen anywhere. That is just exceptional.

Very Well done pen, I thought at first that the section was also made from the blackwood, either way it is a very nice pen, I hope I can do something that nice someday.

As it has already been said many times, exceptionally beautiful pen Ken. I especially like the touch of sapwood and, the finish. Great job.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! And the finish is perfect. I can't tell where the front section ends and where the pen body begins. Truly stunning.
