Some of you may know that my Mother recently remet an exboyfriend of hers and they have since dated and she has moved to Texas with him. I have only had phone conversations with her since she moved and the occational post on Facebook (WOW my Mom on Facebook, who would have thought!) Anyhow, Jonathon and I are going to visit for the first time since she moved away and I'm really excited about it. I decided to make her a very special pen to use. I recreated a pen I made a while back and I think this time I'm really happy with how it turned out. This is yet another Scepter wrapped in Wild Horse Jasper. Enjoy!

Well got in to Texas this morning and after all the hugs and tears and greeting were exchanged and all the suitcases set up in our room we sat everyone down to show off. She picked up the scepter almost right away and said how pretty she thought it was and was amost speachless when I told her it was hers. :) She now has it proudly displayed on her desk and is promising to keep it very safe and out of her honeys hands. :) Thank you for all the great comments! Really helps build the confidence up a bit. :) -Shea.
