Gentlemens Pen, Cherry Burl

Hi,

I finished the Gentlemens pen with a cherry burl. I really enjoy the look of a natural wood that displays it's own true character. I like the simple balance of this hardware as well, it does not compete with the wood, it's adds accent.

Very nice pen Jim. I am a real fan of burls. They can be difficult to work with at times but are well worth the extra effort.

Very nice work, Jim. I too, like the simple statement that kit makes. And, that is a beautiful burl, but I don't know that I've seen cherry burl that yellow.
