This is a PSI Gatsby Grande pen, in chrome & gunmetal. The blank is a Rhino called Canary Feathers. Yet another beautiful Rhino blank!

I wasn't quite sure what to expect from this blank. Because of its name, I was afraid it would be light yellow. But I wasn't disappointed. It's a deep golden color, and simply stunning.

Yes, I was afraid the blank would be translucent, so I painted the tube and blank with yellow spray paint, and colored the epoxy with acrylic paint.

I do that with all my pens. I'll take 100 photos of a single pen sometimes. Photos are my journal, I like to be able to refer back to how I did something with a certain pen. I took 65 pics of this one.

That's a nice pen. Doesn't the epoxy weaken if you add paint to it though?

I have no way of testing the strength of the epoxy. But I haven't had any problems with the strength. Honestly, I really don't think much strength is required, you're just attaching the tubes inside the blanks. I haven't had any separate.
