Fun stuff this weekend

Here are a couple of fun pens I turned over the weekend. One is from scraps of an old cedar fencepost, found up on the High Desert here in Utah. And the other is Ironwood from the Utah/Arizona border. I thought you all might enjoy seeing them.

I agree. Hard to choose, but the cedar fencepost has just a bit more character in my opinion. TWO very nice pens.

I think I like the ironwood more, but only because I have been working with a lot of spalted stuff and my eyes need a break. I would definitely have a MUST OWN THAT reaction to them in person.
