My 7 year old niece is visiting for the summer, and the first thing she asked to do was to make a pen. So with some shop modifications (step stool) we went to work.

That is probably your favorite pen now and it should be! Your a good uncle.

That blank is the perfect choice for grabbing a youngster's attention, that's for sure! One of these days I'm going to get around to making a Sharpie pen using that blank for a friend of mine who is a recording artist. She signs lots of CDs and photos, therefore the Sharpie part, and for the blank, well heck, ANYONE would love the blank!

I agree, that pen turned out very nice, and the moments share are priceless...!

You may need to get that "step" raised slightly, as she is still a little too low but apart from that, all is great...!

Thanks every for the great feedback and Positive responses, They really mean a lot to my niece, She is walking on cloud 9. She has already been told by her sister and Grandmother that if she leaves it laying around it's gone. :biggrin:
