Franchini 308 kitless bullet pen

Here is a pic of a pen I made up today using a genuine 308 cartridge (thanks Glen) the finnial and section and nose cone are turned from solid copper rod.

The pen is not yet finished and requires final polish and epoxy lacquer finish.

The pen uses a standard cross twist mechanism and refill

Nice looking pen. I've made several .308 pens back to back. This is the first I've seen done like this. Very unique!

Very unique pen, great job.. Thats a creative alternative. What lacquer did you use to seal it?
