Here is my fountain pen gallery shown in the order made. The finish on all of these is the HUT was and friction polish that cam e in a starter kit from Woodcraft. I believe they also all have been sanded to 12k with MM before the wax and finish were applied.

Very nice pens- the katalox is pretty wood. I've only made two or three fountain pens- don't know that many people that use them, but they always look very sophisticated!

Those are nice-looking pens. Your recipients will really like them!

You'll probably get some feedback as far as the friction polish choices, because the wax finishes will eventually wear away and you'll want something to protect your beautiful wood. So CA, CA/BLO, lacquer, and others will help a lot.
