I like the wavy grain in the Cocobolo. Especially the lower barrel.

Both are lovely pens. Got to like the cocobolo the best.

I'll go against the grain and say I like the walnut, it has great warm tones, it's got the look of a much loved old pen but without ugly wear. Actually the plating could almoast use a little tarnish!

The Cocobolo has a couple of nice knots on the lower barrel that really look cool.

The Claro Walnut has a matte finish and is a favorite of my wife's as she likes the "warmth" as mentioned by Kadmos. When I show these along with my Acrylics, they hardly get a glance... thus they remain "lost" in the shop[]
