FOB (found on beach) wood on a cigarillo. I recently found a small piece of wood on the beach. It felt like a sponge. I brought it home, dried it out and stabilized it. It was still very soft in places. It was so soft that even very light sanding resulted in some flat spots. In hindsight, I should have coated it with CA before any sanding since I had a nice smooth surface after turning.

Several of my favorite pens are those with no spectacular features, but spectacular stories. This pen is excellent - nice grain, nice profile, nothing that would command a high price, but a wonderful remembrance for a cherished time. It is a pen similar to several I also have, and wouldn't trade for anything. An $8.00 priceless pen!
