Robusto in African blackwood with eight flutes cut in the cap with a 1/16" round-nosed router bit using my Legacy Mill. The lower part is cut with the same bit in a three-twist spiral. Finished with three coats of hand-brushed lacquer.

I am having fun with my mill!

That is one heck of a pen and very unique. I like what you've done, a lot. I love that kit, that is what I use and I sell quite a few of.
Too bad they don't sell the legacy 200 any more. Seems like the next model up cost a lot.
Congrats.

Dave,

That was quick! Looks like you have really figured out that mill. I watched the fatory rep doing demos of the mill at the Ontario, CA woodworking show a few weeks ago. The possibilities are endless.

Very cool pen.

I have the Legacy Revo Craftmaster. Lots of fun after you figure it out. I knew there had to be an easier way to make twists!
