flowers and nuts

I have not had time to do alot of turning. I finished up my PITH pen and got it mailed off(sorry no pics on this end) I have been working on Christmas Gifts and decided to have a little fun along the way. I turned some acorns to see if I could do it. They are fun and go quickly. Gonna make some ornaments out of some for next year. I made a Spring Blossom pen with flowers from my wifes grandmothers funeral and a piece of walnut from her father. Then a Atrax for a Toyota dealer that promoted a local agency winning a vehicle in the Toyota 100 cars for good event this year.

Now I know what to do with all of my cutoffs! Brilliant! Multicolored acorns. Do some in Fall colors for decorations next year... Hmmm you've got me thinking now.
