Flame Boxelder

This was made from a pen blank (Flame Boxelder) I got from Bill Baumbeck a long time ago. I knew it would be eye candy one day. My lighting wasn't very good in these pics, but the finish showed up nicely for a change. This finish gave me no problems at all. I love the colors in this blank.

Awesome pen! I love that wood. I have some figured box elder that I am ready to turn...A cigar pen is loaded and ready to go as soon as I finish up another pen that is on the lathe[]
