I can't remember for sure who I got this wood from, but it's been around a while since it was still damp when I got it. Cut up a piece yesterday and turned it and was amazed to find some curl in it along with the flame that I knew was there. Black Ti Olympia, CA finish. I think my bushings might be wearing down a bit since the nib and finial are both a bit proud of the wood, but I can fix that with a barrel trimmer.

Gerry I am pretty sure that is some of the wood that came from me. I have made several pens from it and they all had the curl as well. You were the last person to get some of the wood that was left.
