Flag 3.0 and another Rainbow

I keep getting closer to what I want to achieve with the flag and the rainbow. Flag is curly maple, Rainbow Maple Burl, both with CA finish.

looks good, but try to bring out more of the colors in the middle of the rainbow. otherwise, really cool watching your progression with this technique!

It is really tough getting an even spectrum of color, some of my early ones had too much yellow in the middle, and I forgot to do violet. I think I just have to work at the blend. I might just take a bunch of 1/8" thick plywood rectangles cut the size of pen blanks and practice rainbows until I am more consistent.
