I have to say, I really enjoyed turning this. The kit is simple, and it shows a lot of material which I like. The Bethlehem Carob wood is a little rough to start, but turns out beautiful. I am very impressed with the grain patterns as well as the natural character of the wood. This piece is great because of the natural veins running through it.

As always, comments and critiques are greatly appreciated.

Nope, I was excited to get it.
My girlfriend took my son to Jersey for a week, so I jumped right into the shop. Thanks again.
By the way, do those Carob blanks usually come with a card like the olive wood? Just curious..

Very nice Brian! Didn't take long for you to dig into that box ;)

Nope... I'm not sure if its not so unique or what, but I got these originally from woodturningz, but they don't come with certificates. I'm guessing the processing isn't as special as BOW (the whole, not harming the trees, etc)...
