First Yari pen

This is the new Yari pen kit made for Berea and sold through exotic blanks.

The wood is buckeye Burl. One observation is that I think this kit is going to go significantly better with some blank materials over others.

What do you think of the buckeye with it?

Looks very Nice Dan, you have done a great job on it.
I would like to see the photograph with a different background.
It is a lot of Gray Scale, and the Blank tends to disappear or be over shadowed by the Back Ground.
They do look a great pen.

He does indeed but it is what it is and I'm too lazy to change backgrounds for different pens. :-/

This is the result of the pen not being properly lighted. The gray background is OK. You want a dark background so the product will stand out!

Dan the blank looks great but I do not like the kit at all. The lower end looks out of place and weird to me. My opinion. I am guessing it is another playoff of the Sierra kits but from your photo maybe a longer blank. But thanks for showing. Good luck.
