A pair of Coastal Live Oak Euro's with CA/BLO finish. We have several of these 100+ year old trees at my aunts home in Santa Barbara. I made one for my cousin who is recovering from pancreatic cancer surgery to remind her of happier days when she was a child playing under these trees, and one for her mother who is taking care of her.
And finally a 50th birthday present for a friend who was quite the juvenile delinquent as a teen. One of his favorite things to do was get high and hide in an apple tree from whichhe would throw apples at cars. These days he is a succesful lawyer, active in politics and church. The tree was just cut down, so I made this to remind him of where he came from.
