I just finished my first wedding pen for my guest book. It's the first pen I've turned with casein. I like this stuff. It's a dream on my lathe and finished perfectly. The fountain kit is a Berea New Series Style that I purchased from Ed at Exotic Blanks. I also got the blanks from him. It's a dream to turn and looks fantastic. I have two more to turn and can't wait for our guest to use them. Enjoy!!

I like the way that turned out.

This style kit is one of my current favs, and I like what Berea did with the New Series improvements over the Streamline American. It's easy to turn and assemble, and I like that it only takes 1/4 turn to post the cap.

I think it's an excellent choice for a wedding pen.

While I can't see it in the pics, I can imagine that that casein contrasts nicely with the etching on the centerband.
