After making pen I thought it is fine but find out that CA needs to be polished better> I was only using "One step plastic polish". I believe that buffing would be a good choice. Anyway, here is a pic of that pen

Very nice! I too was using Huts on the lathe to polish my CA pens. Then I bought a buffer at harbor freight and upgraded the wheels. What a difference! I use the firmer wheel with some tripoli compound and then some huts on the loose wheel. It polishes the CA or acrylic very nicely.

Personally I do not touch the "one step plastic" and don't have a buffing wheel, so I use up to 12000 Micromesh wet sanded.

Also I prefer a matte finish on wood anyways. I believe wood should look like wood and not be overly shiny.
