This is a Polaris Pencil in Walnut. I cut at 5,10,20,30 and 40 degrees. The sandwich is maple between two slices of aluminum can. Finish is CA/BLO. There are a couple of errors but I'll wait and see if you point them out. Any and all comments or critques greatly appreciated.

nice job, I like the look of it. Not really a fan of of the kit though.

wild guesses on your errors:
spacing between segments
lining up grain between segments

That's a pretty darn good job you put forth there! I don't see any errors except maybe the sections aren't spaced evenly apart? It might even be more dramatic if they were closer together. I've made one pen similar (my sections were all 90 degrees). I think I used gutter flashing in mine.
