Much thanks to Ron Hossack for posting his instructions. I really enjoyed doing these. For me the "unibody" makes it much easier to turn a more slender cigar that better fits ladies' hands.

One Amboyna burl with chrome. The other a piece of myrtle with satin copper.

All the best, Joe

Those look very nice. I'm still on the fence about this one as to trying it, but I'm sure I'll come around.

Joe, you've been holding out on me! Great looking pens, I will try one today!

And, the pen stands look great too. I like the way the pen is "captured" in the top hole instead of "resting". Should be helpful for those of us doing shows...I get so tired of picking up pens everytime someone knocks into the table.

So, tell us....where do you get the stands?

Great pens, and good photos of them also.

Amboyna burl is just about my favorite wood. It have 1/2 dozen blanks of it right now and am working on 4 cigars for a friend getting married. Wants them for himself, best man and two groomsmen.

I can hardly wait to do them and am going to do two of them with a copper kit and two with gold.
