My local Woodcraft often has a table (or two) of sale items. Last week I picked up a couple of Liberty pen kits for half price. I had never done one so I figured why not? This morning I went by to pick up a chuck adapter that I had ordered (it wasn't in :frown:) but they had some TruStone on the sale table. The blanks were 75% off. I bought the five they had left. Had a few other errands to run but when I got home I went out in the shop and did this Liberty in Sugi TruStone.

In person the color is a little more like a dark grape.

Wish I could edit the subject of this thread. I should have added "First TBC". I had never done a pen between centers. I really like the way that works. Tried it again last night with standard bushings on one of Smitty's Le Roi Royales. Worked fine with the standard bushings but the TBC bushings give a better feel, more solid.
