I made this for my sister's ex-husband, whom I still consider my brother-in-law. He is a minister, so the Bethlehem olivewood was a no-brainer. I chose a gold kit, to represent a line from my late father's favorite hymn, Where The Roses Never Fade. The line is, "Where the streets with gold are laid." Steve came and prayed with my father in the hospital right before his death, and he said the eulogy at his funeral. Even though it's been more than 10 years, I'm still incredibly thankful for Steve. I felt compelled to make this pen, to show in very small measure my appreciation.
