I hadnt made the Sierra before because I felt it was too short,like the Atlas,and I didnt like the black plastic look of the barrel near the point. I still feel that way about the length, its too short for a dress pocket, but the new finishes got my attention. So when the grooup buy came along, I figured I'd give it a try. It really makes up beautifully and is about the easiest pen to assemble. I should have ordered more, thanks, John!

Excellent work! What wood is that?

I didn't think much of the Sierras either until the mixed finish ones came out (B and GTi, and the BTi and Platinum). I still don't care much for the others but those two are fantastic.

Edit: I didn't realize that was a Black and Gold Titanium Sierra. It is isn't it? Just personal preferences mind you, but I'm not really sure that a ruddy wood goes with that kit.
