This is my first attempt at Polaris. What do you think? I have 8 more to complete. I've turned a few key chains before. But here are a few more.

Am I right that I'm looking at Purpleheart and Amboyna Burl for the pens?

Your workmanship and finish are great. Nice job. Unfortunately I'm not a big fan of the Polaris style. Nothing you did, the kit itself just looks odd to me. But nice work on the wood. [;)]

My scanning didn't turn out as good as I wanted. The one on the left is Cocobola and the other one is Lacewood. I'm still unsure if I like the style or not. I have had a few people request some already, so I guess they are good to me.

You are correct. I believe the Polaris is a little fatter than the Wall Street. The Polaris is about the diameter of a Cigar and the length of a Wall Street.
