I've never been much of a fan or Purpleheart or Pink Ivory, but the pens are well done. I do really like the looks of the Cocobolo and Maple checker and it looks like it was executed with great precision, too []

I'm really not a huge fan of Purpleheart either. My brother was woulded in Iraq so I made one for him.. Every now and again some of his buddies will ask for one. I usually give them away to the guys that have been awarded the medal.. The checker was kind of a pain butI liked the result. Just have to be patient lining it up to glue...
