Hey Guys,

Just quickly turned a couple of cigar pens for one of our exchange students from Germany. Stefan and his girlfriend came over on vacation and stopped through Dallas to see us. So I quickly turned these for them. Messed up on the purple by using the wrong bushing in the wrong place, but it still turned out.

From what i can see from my phone, they look pretty good.
The second one is my fav. I've made several and really like them.

Nice pens Tom. The cigar is one of my favorites. I actually prefer the slimmer profile that you did on the purple. I think the shape works well with the hardware.

BTW, have you subscribed to the N. TX Chapter forum? We have a good group of turners around the Dallas area and get together 3-4 times a year.

The first one looks much better as far as the fit. I think the bottom barrel looks better if it is under turned as the photo shows.... good job.
