My stepdaughter has a thing for stars, so I glued some stars to a pen tube and then cast it. The picture doesn't show how they catch the light in real life, but you can get the idea.

Any comments are welcome.

Also, I have been experimenting with slimlines and tried out a design on a piece of honey locust that I bought from Cozee. I am very pleased with the results (the honey locust was a totally unexpected pleasant surprise) and have been carrying this pen now for about a week.

While I don't really care for the shape of the PR, I really like the casting idea, Tony. It looks pretty cool. Honey Locust was a surprise for me too. Interesting shape, but is it comfortable? I looks like the upper tube might hit my nuckle wrong.

Nice job on both, Tony.

Tho' I really like the idea of the casting over stars for your stepdaughter-hope she realizes how much effort went into her pen.
