Well after blowing up one blank during drilling and another one with the tube showing because I scraped some of the reverse paint off the inside of the blank, I finally had a successful attempt at turning an acrylic pen. I am pretty happy with it and learned there is more to pen making than wood. Any criticism is greatly appreciated.

Congrats on your first. That is a really nice looking pen. Nicely Done.

What is the blank called?

I think you did a very good job on it. Acrylics can be tricky sometimes, but then when you pull off a nice pen like this one, it is all worth it. I like the blank you used on this one.

Thanks everyone. I think that the blank was something like Caramel Corn from Woodcraft but I'll have to look when I get home.
