NOTE: I've knocked on just about every piece of wood in the shop before posting this. :D

After a successful 2006 with snakewood pens, I've decided to run the risk again this year. Thanks for looking and/or commenting.

Looks great Lou. I have to try one of those. They are beautiful. If I try one, I think I'll turn it down then let it sit a couple weeks. If it cracks, I'll fill it in then finish it. I know, I'm a chicken.[:D]

Thank you for the compliments and especially for the good luck wishes. Hopefully that horseshoe I have is still firmly wedged where the sun never shines and the pen will be fine. Hank, it’s funny that you mention it being appreciated in Japan. I just sold a snakewood pen to a guy in Tokyo last week and have an order for another to ship to New Zealand. Serge â€" I got the blanks from Darrick (chitswood) although most of my snakewood comes from Bill Baumbeck. Both are great suppliers with beautiful wood!
