Found some snakewood blanks in a grabbag of woodblanks. 3 long enough for any pen and 1 half blank. Drilled and turned the half blank first to see results. I will wait and see if it cracks(according to legend). Thanks for looking.

Nice looking pen. What is it about snakewood that makes it crack quicker than Amy Winehouse? Is it very brittle, or something in the grain?

Great pen. I have had good results with snakewood. After i drill I flood the inside with thin CA to fill any micro cracks, then Med thick CA to glue the tubes in, After turning I use thin CA to stabilize again. The pens have held up well.
