my first attempt at artist sketch pencil, friend at work wanted it for his daughter for x-mas. figured walnut with my first attempt at a ca finish.
And spiecial thanks to Scott G. for suppling the crome kit:).

( still need to work on my photography)

These are easy to make and are a good item. With soft lead, they are, indeed, sketch pencils. With hard lead they make a fine shop pencil.
BTW, I believe they photograph better with some of the lead point showing. It looks like a pencil that way.
Nice job, she will like.

I think it turned out very nice! These pencils are nice and big so they show off the wood well. I like them!

Thanks for the comments everyone. Frank, i think your right but i didnt think about it till after i posted the picture. ( i am a little slow sometimes[:)]).

thanks randy, i just ordered a couple more last night and since the crome is back ordered till after x-mas i got a couple of black ones and a couple of gold.
