I've only been at this for about six months, and I'm really enjoying it! I'm not great at coloring inside the lines, so many of my pens have very nontraditional shapes. I work in a machine shop where everything is made to precise dimensions, so when I get home to my workshop, I just have fun with it.
These are a few of my favorites.

Most of us go through that phase of nontraditional shapes once we get comfortable with pen turning. Some of us never seem to escape it. Some, like me, revisit it regularly. If it stops being fun and starts being work it isn't worth the trouble.

Can't say I'm a non-traditional shape fan, but the workmanship and the blanks look great. Keep up the good work!

Regards,
Michael
