Trio of pens:

Jerusalem Olive Wood
Laminated from Ankrom Exotics
Laminated blank from Woodcraft

First time with CA, am still experimenting with techniques but I think I'm figuring it out.

thanks to Warren from Denver, NC for the lesson!!

Looking good my friend. Did it give you any trouble? I spent a good bit of time in the shop today. Hope to post up some pics later tonight.

thanks, Warren. They're not as smooth as I would like and this has been multiple attempts and taking back to wood before I got to where I'm pretty much okay. by the way, all three of these have already sold.

I have found using BLO between CA coats helps and by not using accelerator it doesn't work as well.

Murray's CA is awesome and cheap.

The pens all look nice. The finish from what I can see looks pretty good too. Something about Olive wood and CA looking so good on it. I had a keychain I finished with some left over African Olivewood this weekend and it looks so nice with the CA finish. Looks to me like you are discovering a way that works best for you.
