Here is Rebecca's first segmented pen. She glued the blank up by herself with some walnut grandpa gave her and a piece of solid surface countertop material. She wasn't entirely pleased with the result as she meant for the blue stripe to be at the top and less in the middle but put the blank on the mandrel the wrong way.

And some graduate pens with some different woods she was sent to try. :) From left to right: Kingswood, poplar, koa, and maple. She really likes the Koa.

Excellent Pens, Rebecca.
With the First One, We all make Silly Mistakes like That, at Some Time. It still Looks Great.
Love the Four Wood Sample Pens your were Given.
You have done a Masterful Job on them, The Fits are Fantastic, and the Finishes are Superb.
Congratulations All Round.
Brian.

I want to bump this posting to hopefully get other kids to post some of their pens.

Rebecca is showing the rest of us some great work. Happy that she is jumping on the 'hobby wagon' and showing us what the future of the IAP has in store.

Keep up the wonderful work Rebecca.
