After seeing RonMc do his segmenting demo at Bubbasville East v2.0 I was inspired to try one myself. I am fairly happy with the results - it isn't perfectly lined up but looks generally pretty good. The wood is Purpleheart, Curly Maple (found at Lowe's), and Texas Blackwood (from Chitswood). Critiques welcomed.

Also from Bubbasville, here is another Sierra made from RonMc's free blanks - Black Ash Burl with Malachite Powder Stripes.

Thanks for looking and critiques.

Eric, they both look great! I'm especially impressed with your first attempt at segmenting. I have yet to work up the courage to try that!

Eric,
Nice job on the "Morning After" sierra! The second pen looks great as well. This blank was in my freebie boxes?[;)]

It is easy to tell that you have some WW experience under your belt for the "first" segmented pen to come out that nice. Beautiful!

The Ashe and Malachite look great too!
