Pen #12 - Virage Rollerball
Kit: Virage Rollerball - Upgrade Gold (Exotic Blanks)
Blank: Pen Makers Choice Acrylic Pen Blank Antique Gold (Woodturner's Catalog)
Not sure what kind of wood was used.
Well, I suppose it would be considered my first segmented pen... It's just a little tiny bit of acrylic on the end of the pen. I like the look of it and had a little bit of extra blank.
I'm not sure what kind of wood it is, but it's got an orange cast to it and bled orange when wet. It smelled almost spicy like cloves. It was darker on the outside, but once I turned it, it was really quite interesting, the color of the wood had stripes in it of both orange and purple. The wood was fun to work with. I only applied the Myland polish.
