Here's my first "segmented" pen. It's simple but I wanted to try it out. Turned out pretty good. The stopper obviously isn't a pen, but since I did them at the same time, i thought I'd just put them both in here for comments.

Pen: Bocote with Lacewood stripes in a gold cigar from Wood-N-Whimsies
Stopper: Piece of burl from unknown wood found in Oklahoma and chrome stopper from IAP member trade.

Thanks in advance for the comments.

Mike

Nice Stopper, I like the wood, also the pen is pretty sharp as well, but I really like the wood on the stopper.

I like the wood in the stopper as well. I don't know what kind it is...It was just an old stump I found in OK last time I was home and pulled off the outside layer...Was my first time really trying to turn a piece of burl...had to do some filling with thick CA to fill some holes but otherwise it turned out really pretty...though you couldn't tell it before turning...
