This was my first George Resifill blank. It was a gift to me from Mark James that he included in the box with some other special blanks when sending me a couple pieces of German Bog Oak. (A piece of the Bog Oak should be a finished pen sometime this week!)
From George's Timbers List this is #10 - Poplar. Resin is blue and purple swirled. I back painted it with light gray. Kit is an Atrax Rollerball. CA finish. Mark, Thank You again for the awesome blanks!
I love how this pen turned out and it's been in my pocket every day since I finished it. Now I need to save up some money so I can place an order for some Resifills from George!
This is the second wood/resin cast blank I've turned. The first one I've also attached a pic of as I turned it the same day as this one. Boxelder Burl cast with Red. Back painted black. Cigar kit. CA finish.
