First RB, bocote on caballero kit

Just put together my first rollerball kit today, and I have to say I am very happy with how it came out. It easily became my favorite kit about 2 minutes after finishing. This was my 9th career pen I believe. This is the chrome kit with bocote.

Still need to spend some time on a decent photo set up for pens, but this is what I have for now. Would love to hear any critiques. Thanks.

Nice figure on the Bocote. I had an MTD 635 bass with a Bocote top. Grain is eye catching.

I bet that would look great. In a pen blank the wood is very unassuming. I wouldn't think it would be so distinct like it is.
