Two first here...
My first TBC pen and my first Raven Pen Kit. The top of the pen is redwood from the USS Forrestal (CV-59) the bottom is teak from the deck of the Heavy Cruiser USS Des Moines (CA-134). Covered with Doctor's Woodshop Pens Plus.
The threads work great!
Note to self, the pen mandrel is no longer there so when you disconnect the tail stock the pen falls. Lesson learned.
