When I saw that a scanner could get a decent picture, I thought I would take a stab at posting my latest snakewood (Comfort). I was thinking about creating a photo setup, but I think I'll just stay in the workshop for now.

Very nice pen. I love the comfort grips. My personal pen is a cg, with the grip on. Welcome to IAP.

I used an Epson 636U scanner (it's about 3-4 years old). The image was lightened slightly (and sharpened) in Paint Shop Pro, but even the raw scan was very acceptable with no unseemly shadows.

I also like the CG but favor a rollerball pen to a ball point. I see all these gorgeous snakewood pens but all of mine cracked and I am not going to try again.

NICE pen, welcome.
