I'm new here and have gotten lots of inspiration from viewing the work of you fine penturners. Thought I'd post a couple pictures to introduce myself and say thanks for all the great info I've gleaned from this site. I've been turning for a little over a month and havin' a ball. This one is spalted Tamarind on a designer squire.

Beautiful work, Phil. Nice timber on a well chosen pen. The fit and finish is well done. The photos are well lit and in focus, good job. Thanks for sharing. Welcome to the IAP from far West Kentucky, home of pretty horses and fast women.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I am new to turning, but not new to woodworking. I make furniture on occasion and have been known to make a knife or two. I am sure that this site has shortened my pen turning learning curve tremendously. I'm happy to have found this site and excited about my new hobby!
