A few months ago I came across a"wooden pen". Thanks to the internet I found this site. Today I post my fist picture.

Nice pen. Did you make the blank? I like the turning on it but I cannot tell on the finish. Very nice job welcome to the forum, I hope we see lots more from you!

Choosing a mixed blank for your first pen is certainly "gutsy"!!!

If you can turn that successfully, you are likely to be able to turn nearly ANY blank--amazing work!!! Congrats!!

For your first pen, that is an amazing job. And as others have mentioned, very brave move on turning a mixed blank.

And thanks for showing off your work! Looks like you found a lot more then a 'wooden pen' on the internet.....maybe tripped and fell into the vortex:eek:

The pen looks great, what did you use for a finish?
